Riker (about 16 weeks old as of 10/22) is a male grey shorthaired kitten. Riker was born outside and caught during the very end of what is called the "critical socialization period"; so he was very shy to start out with but over several weeks in foster care he has blossomed into a very curious and outgoing little boy who doesn't seem to be afraid of anything at home and has to help with everything people do, usually purring the whole time. Raised with other cats of all ages and dogs of all sizes, Riker would do great in just about any home where he had an active animal companion to keep him company when people are away.
