Domestic Short Hair - Black - Buster - Medium - Adult - Male
Buster is a 6 year old (as of 9/10/13) special needs male black cat. He was found as a stray and it was obvious that Buster had a hard life on the streets. He is friendly but his years fending for himself have taught him to fear new people at first until he gets to know you. With that said, Buster is all talk and no action and he would not hurt a fly. Buster does have some health problems; namely, he has a non functional eye that at this point does not need to be removed. We are uncertain as to whether it will at some point need to come out but either way having one functioning eye is not a major problem for as indoor cat. Buster also came to us with some dental problems and has had to have several teeth removed. Buster is FIV positive but not ill from the virus. While it is possible that he could transfer the virus to another cat were he to bite them, the transfer rate among fixed cats is very, very low. Buster does get along with other cats but would probably be least stressed in a quite home as an only cat or with only 1 or two feline companion. Buster would also do best in a cat-experienced home.
